Introducing Eli Fox

We are loving us some Eli Fox here at Laurel Canyon Radio. Here’s his bio as well as a video of him doing Van Morrison’s classic “Brown Eyed Girl” at Knoxville Civic Auditorium.


At 18 years old Eli Fox is already a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and emerging songwriter with 2 releases under his belt. Eli’s style will take you on a musical journey to the past, present and future. Eli will throw new original songs at you like ” A Little More”, “Hillbilly” and even “Grenade Tossing Monkey”.

Eli was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee where the rich musical landscape has contributed to his unique style and development. Eli is continuing an extraordinary passion and desire to learn, practice and listen to all kinds of music past and present. Eli’s infectious music performances have won over a growing audience of roots music loving millennials and baby boomers. This is an exciting period for Eli as he now has developed the confidence and clarity to share his original music to a wider audience.

Projects
Aside from Eli’s solo work, he has played with various groups and as a founding member of the band Subtle Clutch. He has also played with acts such as The Knoxville Banjo Orchestra and Emily Ann Roberts.

Some of Eli’s favorites include: Bob Dylan, John Hartford, Chuck Berry, Doc Watson, Johnny Cash, Woody Guthrie, The Old Crow Medicine Show, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bill Monroe, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Band and many more.

Eli sings and plays the banjo, guitar, dobro, harmonica, piano and more.

Some of the venues Eli has played include: Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Bijou Theatre, Rhythm N’ Blooms Festival, WDVX Blue Plate Special, Dollywood, Market Square, Scruffy City Hall and many more.
