Mamas & Papas

 

They were photogenic, they were talented and they were the centrifugal point where every thing about the Laurel Canyon era coalesced around.  The Mamas and the Papas were the hosts to the epicenter of mid 60s rock n roll.   While much of there music wasn’t as transcendent as the movement they birthed, they are nevertheless style and sound icons of our generation.
